WMUR: Without fanfare, Sununu signs $13.5 billion state budget, policy-focused trailer bill into law
Craig Brown, executive director of the newly launched progressive nonprofit Amplify New Hampshire, called the budget “a disaster for New Hampshire families. It contains a wish list of extreme policy priorities that will set New Hampshire back.
“The budget shifts funding away from New Hampshire public schools through a voucher program, slashes taxes for large corporations and the wealthiest individuals, and places severe restrictions on a woman’s right to choose. It betrays the trust Granite Staters have placed in him, and we will not forget it."
